I was eating M&Ms the other day when I started thinking about the social implications of racism. As I was thinking about it, I realized that a lot of people dont realize that racism works both ways.

Racism knows all kinds of colors, sadly racism is one of the oldest human flaws.

Muhammad's statements on racism ]the Prophet said in his last sermon:
“ All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over a white - except by piety and good action. „

It is true. No one is superior. Not only does it apply to races, but also to religions.

Lots of work to do to make this world a more peaceful place.

This is a great piece. I'm not saying this to be racist, but we do not have many blacks, hispanics, ect. at my school. Two new kids that moved here are black, and they straight out said that they prefer hanging out with white girls, because the black girls at my school are 'bitches'. This actually made me laugh. Also, I think its sad that people automatically think of white people as the bad race and what not. Just because theres that handful in each race that discriminates, it doesn't mean everyone on that race does that. Everyone is different.

Agreed. I love having to deal with homophobic people around me. I just consider myself lucky to have not dealt with much bashing on me for being a lesbian.

this is so good, people always forget that is goes both ways and it annoys me when people only think it applies to black people.
